Day at the Zoo!

Okay, back to blogging here I go! I know it's been a while, um like 7months, but life is crazy busy and i'm lovin every minute of it. Loving it too much to spend time on the computer. As I start to feel better I promised myself that I would try and get going on the updates. Brae's Birthday is long gone and we are coming up on year #2! Speaking of #2, We are expecting BABY #2 the middle of May!!! What a surprise it was and we are super excited! (and I think I'm busy now?!) Things have been great. We had a good summer with lots of camping, lake trips and travels out of town. Braelyn SLEEPS! She's talking up a storm. She has developed a weird obsession for my belly button. She sings ALL the time. "Twinkle Twinkle little star" is her fav right now. She's learning her ABC'S, counts to ten and all the other little things us first time moms are sooo proud of. She's taking a liking to "Wonder Pets", not too fond of Halloween and is VERY jealous when other babies end up in her mommy's arms. Something we'll be working on these next couple of months. Chris is super Dad! Brae loves her daddy and looks forward to when he comes home. They laugh and play all the time. She somehow finds the laundry room (her place of time out) a fun and exciting place when her daddy is home. Watching his feet under the door makes her giggle! We feel very blessesd in our lives and have had so many experiences in these last few months to remind us of that! Can't wait for this Holiday season and to spend some much needed time with family and friends. May the catching up begin........

These pics are a bit out of order... but in March we made our first trip to the ZOO!. We had a great time with some friends of ours and their handsome little boy Brady. Devin use to play ball with Chris and Davinia and I met during the days of minor leauge travels. They live in the Valley but we rarely get to see them. Fun day and the kids had a blast!
Poor little goats!

Brae loves her shades!

Going in for the kiss! These two were so cute. I think they had the BEST time playing in the back of the truck.

Twiner's

These are my cousins kiddos. So cute and thankfully fighters. They were born around 28 weeks and little Alex wasn't expected to make it. They toughed it out and have been on the go ever since. They're both sooo sweet, fiesty and full of life. Brae loves playing with them when she gets the chance. My hero of an aunt has gotten them through some rough times of being sick and they all live in Pinetop. Traveling was tough for awhile due to oxygen, feeding tubes etc., so we haven't seen them as much as we'd like. They're doing great now and we look forward to many more days of play!

Our little Zaner! We love his old man do!

Look at those little chicken legs! sooo cute! What a fighter! Believe or not, Alex and Zane are 7 months older than Brae.

So Alex was a little unhappy about having to share the chair :(

Here they are... all sportin "Shorty Tie dye"

Brae not cooperating for the picture.

This is Braelyn's Great Aunt Ann. She's the best and always makes things tons of fun. She has been helping out with the twins over the past year and a half and we've hardly seen her. We miss her dearly and can't wait for a summer of fun! Lake trips, camping here we come!!

Gotta have the "child in the cabinet" picture. So glad those childproof locks are working!!

B's Birthday Party!

Brae's birthday party was fun. We kept it small and simple and had a blast. She played hard and looked so stinkin cute in her little zebra outfit. The party was "jungle" themed and turned out great. She got a safari jeep sandbox, a swing, a zebra pool and too many other things (thanks all!).

Getting ready for the big day!
MMMM... cupcakes and homemade ice cream. Thanks for all your help!

Cake time!

Aunt Teresa made her this cute little lion birthday cake. She thought he tasted pretty good too.

We ate cake......

We played with bubbles.....

We swam........

And we opened presents with dad!

Sure loved all my presents. Thanks everybody!

The big ONE!

Our Baby girl turns ONE! Boy has this year flown. What fun it has been and what precious moments we have had. Our little Braezer is something else and we find it hard to imagine our life without her. She has taught so much about love, laughter and most of all.... patience. We adore you Braelyn and can't wait for this wild journey to carry on!!!!

Oregon

Fun at the falls. Look at Madi as she falls over the edge.
The boys gettin it done. Had to bring the double stroller down these really steep escalators. Who else other than Chris and Billy.

Madisen and Koye are standing on this bridge over the street of down town Portland. The part they're standing on are these metal crates that you can see through to the ground. Koye was a bit nervous standing on them... can you tell.
Crewser on the go. So cute! He just loves being outside.

Yummy cookies Madi.

Braelyn and Madi making cookies on Valentines Day!
Happy Valentines Day! The boys brought us home candy and balloons.
Braelyn had so much fun being with her cousins.
